When Lette walked through the main entrance of the Judgement Court with his entourage, all the clergy he laid eyes on stood at attention.
The once familiar Knight Captain Kertes hurriedly arrived with his subordinates, bowing in salute.
"Greetings, Lord Lette, greetings, Lord Taylor!"
"Your Judgement Court is quite something..."
Lette shook the Holy Light Badge in his hand: "Even the Pope is disregarded? What’s the meaning of this, are you planning to act independently?"
"No, no, we... we were just..."
The Knight Captain was pale with fear, and the other Divine Officers were even more ashen-faced, nearly collapsing.
Flander looked at these once fierce Black robed believers, who made all heretics tremble with fear, and couldn’t quite wrap her head around their newfound timidity and pathetic state.
