What if I don't know the true name of the vampire? Just make one up!
In Lette's view, the so-called true name is merely the unique identifier of the vampire, the only anchor point keeping them in this world.
Though they are both undead, their situation is different from that of the lich's soul box.
The white-robed bishops of the Holy Light Church argue over this every year, opening research topics. It's all to study and analyze, in hopes of ultimately finding a way to defeat the enemy.
After all, no vampire would reveal their true name, just like no lich would willingly hand over their soul box.
Unfortunately, so far, none of the black-robed, white-robed, or red cardinals have come up with a good solution.
But Lette has one.
In the Holy Light Church, some highly esteemed believers or divine officers, or those with exceptional achievements, have the chance to receive a "Holy Name."
For example: Holy Virtue, Holy Truth, Holy Justice.
These holy names are personally prayed for by the Pope and offered to the Holy Light Goddess. If the Goddess also recognizes the person's virtue and achievements, she will bestow her favor.
The recipient will receive a holy name and the accompanying blessings, enjoying a high status both inside and outside the Church Court.
