Chapter 117: PayBack
Darkness enveloped Adam.
The system window appeared before him a familiar blue glow in the void. It informed him that he had died and was being sent to his most recent respawn point.
His eyes snapped open. He was in his own house. He glanced at the clock. It was morning the same morning he had gone to school and started this whole bloody affair.
He took a deep breath. He now had to face several challenges at once. First he had to deal with Philips. Then he had to handle Anderson and Lily. And his biggest target The Ghost group he had to kill them all.
"I need to analyze everything," he said to himself. "I can’t just run blindly after everyone."
His biggest weakness was that he was alone. And all his enemies knew about his other weakness Sophia. This was a big problem. He knew that he was one man against an army.
He got out of bed. "First I have to deal with Lily and Anderson," he said.
He got ready and left his house. He took his phone from his inventory and opened The Byrd app.
He checked the activity in the underworld.
He noticed that all the information about him had been scrubbed. It was as if they knew he was using the app to gather information. He let out a long breath.
His only source of information was gone.
But he was not too discouraged. He had other ways of getting information.
