Her whole form was concealed under the weighty sheet of metal. She was secure for the moment. The aftermath of the explosion lingered, creating a heavy silence that enveloped everything.
Chaos erupted in the factory as people stumbled around, disoriented, their ears ringing and minds spinning from the unexpected explosion.
Adam rose, his gaze burning with a chilly force. His first target was the man who had held Sophia by the hair, the man who had audaciously inflicted pain upon her.
He charged at him with incredible speed, a whirlwind of movement in the violent aftermath. He seized the man by the collar and lunged toward the factory gate.
He forcefully pushed him against the heavy metal door, the sound echoing with a disturbing thud.
The man was still reeling from the explosion.
The second impact of his body colliding with the unyielding steel unleashed a surge of agonizing pain that coursed through him entirely. He was unaware of what was wrong, but the pain in his back was excruciating.
Before he could fully comprehend the situation, Adam tore two long steel rebar rods from the factory’s decaying concrete wall.
He twisted the sturdy metal rods around the man’s arms effortlessly, securing him to the gate as if they were mere playthings. Fueled by his fury, Adam’s power surged to extraordinary levels.
Adam plans to face this man later; however, he must first handle the situation with those people in the factory. Consequently, he will ensure this man does not evade capture, as he seeks retribution.
