Chapter 75: New Skill
Adam’s eyes scanned the twenty blue boxes before him. There were numerous options. Every window represented a man he had killed. Power was contained in each window.
He did not have to examine them all. He was aware of his desires. He had to be more powerful. He had to be quicker.
He thought, "I want all the stat points from all of them." He instructed the system.
He experienced a sudden surge of energy. It was strong and hot. Streams of light emerged from the twenty blue window. His body was filled with the light. Something ignited inside him. His own stats showed that his strength and speed were increasing.
They rose quickly. Every statistic increased by 100 points.
He could feel the heat in the air. However, he was the source of the heat. His physique resembled a strong engine. He was displacing the twenty men he had slain.
He was extremely light. He no longer felt the weight of his own body. He thought he could fly. He thought he would float into the air if he just leaped a little. He no longer felt the weight of the air around him. It seemed insignificant.
He made the decision to give it a shot. He raised his hand. It was as light as a feather.
Then he moved his arm very fast across his body. The movement made a soft whoosh sound. A small gust of wind blew out from his hand. He watched the wind move some dust on the sidewalk. He was much faster now. This was a new kind of power.
He was still looking at the dust when a new blue box appeared in front of him. It had a new message.
