The void within the chamber trembled.
A silence—deep and unnatural—descended as Zar’Kael raised the gemstone high.
Black lightning arced from it, etching lines of death through the space above the shattered throne.
His body convulsed once, then twice, before it erupted into lightless fire.
The gemstone cracked open like a dying star—its insides were not made of minerals, but of ancient truths and forbidden essence, writhing like serpents of negative creation.
Zar’Kael screamed, not in agony, but in exaltation.
"In the name of the Eternal Fold, I accept the price!"
His flesh melted into mist.
His form was swallowed by darkness.
