As Daniel prepared to move on toward his next hunt, his footsteps halted mid-stride.
A flicker of realisation passed through his eyes.
He turned his gaze skyward, voice low but firm.
"System... I just remembered something. You once mentioned you had hidden functions I could only access once I turned twelve."
There was a beat of silence before the system replied, as if it had been waiting for this moment all along.
[: That’s correct, Host :]
[: The System did not activate those functions earlier to allow you time to adjust to your awakening and new powers :]
[: But now that your body and mind have stabilised, it’s time. :]
Daniel narrowed his eyes, intrigued.
He already had powers that defied the logic of the world.
