Two months had passed by and the countdown to Apex Academy had begun.
We were one week away from departure, and the mansion buzzed with preparations and tension.
New carriages were polished, luxurious clothes laid out, weapons checked, servants briefed.
For most, it was a celebration like a new Chapter filled with promise.
But for us?
It was a cage on wheels, one step closer to the lion’s den.
We had been chosen to accompany Revan to the Academy.
Chosen...as if it were an honour.
It was never a choice in the first place.
House Alburn had no intention of letting Revan attend Apex without his "practice materials."
