Chapter 2: The Bunny Wasn’t In The Script!!!
Leon ran faster than he ever had in his entire life. It was as if his life depended on it... and well, it did. The crimson-eyed rabbit was still chasing him while occasionally destroying the grassland around them with terrifying swipes.
He didn’t even dare to look behind him, afraid it would slow him down for even a second—just enough for the rabbit to catch up to him. And he had no desire to become its meal anytime soon.
’Think. Think. What do I do?’ Leon’s mind raced with all kinds of thoughts as he desperately tried to come up with a way to save himself.
’I still have the strength of the game world’s Leon, so it means I’m still in that world... but I don’t remember adding something like this. It’s definitely related to that portal.’
The only reason he was able to outrun the rabbit at all was because of the strength he now possessed, one that surpassed the limits of a normal human.
The previous Leon had trained hard and accumulated that power, which was now buying him precious time.
But it still wasn’t enough to actually defeat the monster.
Just then, Leon felt a chill on his back and hurriedly jumped to the side—just in time to avoid getting his spine pierced by the rabbit’s terrifying fangs.
He gasped for air, stumbling as he landed, and stared at the crimson-eyed beast, whose fangs were now embedded in the dirt. It wouldn’t be stuck for long.
’Wait! This rabbit seems familiar...’
Now that Leon finally had a moment to properly look at the creature, something clicked in his memory.
’That’s the Crimson Rabbit from the dungeons I made,’ Leon realized, and swiftly came up with a plan.
