Chapter 540: Captured
As night fell, Wang Liang checked the watch he carried with him; it was already three o’clock in the morning.

Wang Liang curled his lips into a smirk, becoming invisible as he stepped out of the basement.
Thanks to the heavy curtains drawn across the windows, the Heart Talk Team’s villa was quite dark, but a Special Ability User’s vision isn’t weak, so Wang Liang could still make out the objects in the darkness.
He didn’t immediately go looking for the Mysterious Fire Fan; instead, he went to the kitchen, found a bamboo basket with leftover fried cakes, and started eating them in big bites.
The fried cakes were aromatic, and the tender chive and egg filling inside made him wonder if there was something wrong with his taste buds; however, considering the lady of the house was a powerful Wood Element User, these chives must’ve been grown by her.
Truly blissful.
Wang Liang walked toward the living room, munching on the fried cakes.
He rubbed his eyes in disbelief. Why was there a fan on the marble coffee table in the living room?!
