Chapter 1477: This Is My... Sister’s Decision
After parting ways with Charlotte Shaw at the breakfast shop, Benjamin Shaw returned to the office, but he didn’t feel like doing anything. He sat absentmindedly in his own chair, lost in thought.
The sudden vibration of his phone snapped him out of his trance. He picked up the phone and saw that it was his sister calling. He thought his sister was going to start nagging him again.
He decisively ignored the call, but before he could put the phone back on the table, it buzzed again.
Thinking it was his sister again, he picked up the phone, ready to dismiss it once more. But just as his finger was about to press the button, he saw the name Anthony pop up.
Seeing that it was Anthony calling, Benjamin was very surprised. However, he quickly answered the call, and what he heard only added to his astonishment.
Since unexpectedly meeting Alice Turner that day, he had lost interest in this cooperation, but he was extremely interested in her.
Learning that she had accepted his good friend’s proposal last night, Benjamin became even less enthusiastic about this partnership, to the point where he was considering voluntarily withdrawing.

"Can I ask whose idea this is?"

Anthony initially intended to say it was everyone’s idea, but seeing Thomas Fisher clinging to Alice Turner made him especially irritated, prompting him to change his words instantly.

Benjamin didn’t know what was happening at the hotel, nor did he realize that Anthony was doing this deliberately to annoy Thomas Fisher, avenging his frustration.
"Can I refuse?"
He didn’t want her charity or compensation. Though the partnership would undoubtedly benefit his company greatly, those benefits seemed utterly worthless compared to her in his eyes.
"What?! You want to refuse?! Why? Didn’t you really want to collaborate with our company?"
Anthony could hardly believe that Benjamin would say no. Shocked as he was, he instantly became angry. He was trying to help him vent his frustration, but not only was Benjamin ungrateful, he directly refused.
To further provoke Thomas Fisher, Anthony had the call with Benjamin on speakerphone the whole time, ensuring that everyone present could hear their conversation.
Hearing Benjamin’s refusal, the others in the room were equally shocked, especially Charlotte Shaw and Grace Young, whose faces showed clear surprise.
Though Thomas Fisher and Alice Turner were surprised, their reaction wasn’t as pronounced as Charlotte and Grace’s, and their expressions remained unchanged.
They both looked at Anthony, or more precisely, at the phone in his hand, listening quietly and waiting for the person on the other end to reply.
"I genuinely wish to collaborate with your company, but the timing isn’t right now, this..."
"How is the timing not right now? I think it’s the perfect time. I don’t care; it’s settled. You hurry to the hotel where we’re staying, and we will sign the contract now."
Before Benjamin could finish speaking, Anthony interrupted him very firmly.
