Benjamin snatched Charlotte’s phone with only one goal, and that was to coax her into letting him go quickly. He hadn’t expected it to be so smooth, his sister was very cooperative and chased after him.

Once Charlotte caught up to him, she raised her hand and lightly slapped Benjamin. She had figured it out that it was impossible to ask anything from him.

Charlotte accurately found her phone’s hiding spot, retrieved it, and said nothing more to Benjamin, not even a goodbye.

She got back into her car and drove away without stopping for a moment.

After the car drove far off, Benjamin slowly retracted his gaze, got into his own car, and left the breakfast shop, heading straight to the company.

After leaving the breakfast shop, Charlotte did not return to her own home nor go to her parental home. She drove over to the Turner Family residence located in Danxi Villa.

At that moment, the Turner Family home had only Sophia Wood there, as Christopher Turner went to the company, Alice Turner was staying at the hotel, and Aunt Hua had just gone out to buy groceries for lunch, with Alice, Anthony, and Grace Young coming over for a meal.

Charlotte called out to Sophia, walking inside while her eyes scanned the surroundings, eagerly trying to find Alice’s figure.

"Aunt! I heard Alice is back, isn’t she home?" Charlotte scanned for quite some time without spotting Alice. She felt the house was quiet, not like anyone else was there.

Sure enough, Sophia knowingly raised an eyebrow. "Alice isn’t staying at home, she’s at a hotel with her two colleagues. Do you need to find her for something?"

After learning the hotel Alice was staying at, Charlotte promptly said goodbye to Sophia without a moment’s hesitation. "Then, Auntie, I’ll go to the hotel to find Alice. I’ll visit another day."

"It’s best to call her first when you go; she might be out running errands." Sophia shouted toward the figure hurrying to the door.

She said it only hoping Alice could be informed ahead about Charlotte coming to see her, to avoid an unprepared situation.
