Chapter 1461: Congratulations to You
Thomas Fisher and Benjamin Shaw both arrived at the bar where they were supposed to meet. After getting out of the car, they exchanged a look, and then, with a sense of mutual understanding, walked into the bar.

This silent atmosphere only ended when the waiter came over.

Benjamin Shaw was very surprised. He hadn’t expected Thomas to propose to Alice so quickly, nor had he thought Alice would accept. The speed at which they reconciled was beyond his imagination.
At that moment, it felt as if a hand was squeezing his heart, squeezing very hard, to the point where he found it a bit hard to breathe.
It took him a while to calm down and make his breathing somewhat even again.
"Congratulations!" Even though Benjamin Shaw was deeply hurt inside, as Thomas Fisher’s good brother, he felt it necessary to offer his congratulations.
Thomas Fisher took a deep breath and slowly said, "Third Brother! Thank you! Thank you for your understanding and blessings."

"Does Aunt Lin know about you two being together?" Benjamin tilted his head looking at Thomas, his face expressionless.
Thomas Fisher nodded: "The two families had dinner together in the evening."
He didn’t hide or deceive, telling the truth about meeting the parents.
The two families had already had dinner together, so everyone who should know already knew. Except for his own mother, the other three elders agreed to them being together.
"Really?" Benjamin couldn’t help but feel shocked at the speed of their development, not that he didn’t believe what Thomas said.
It’s not surprising that the Turner Family parents would agree to their relationship, but it was unexpected that the Fisher Family parents would.
Uncle Fisher was a prominent figure in Flame City; for him to accept his son marrying a divorced woman was surprising.
Mrs. Lin had always opposed them being together, so why did she agree now?
Benjamin Shaw couldn’t wrap his head around it, couldn’t understand how Thomas’s parents could agree to Alice Turner being the Fisher Family’s daughter-in-law. He truly wanted to know what method Thomas used to convince his parents.
Thomas Fisher nodded: "Yes, my eldest brother and his family were also there."
Talking about the dinner together in the evening, he couldn’t help but wear a smile of happiness on his face.
