Chapter 1458: You Really Came to Silence Me?
The ’harassment’ call was from Benjamin Shaw. Seeing the name "Third Brother" on his phone, Thomas Fisher suddenly remembered what Anthony had just said.
What exactly did Third Brother see just now? Could he have seen him and her walk in holding hands?
Alice Turner was always in Thomas Fisher’s arms, and she also saw the flashing number and note on his phone, just like him, she suddenly thought of what Anthony had just said.
"You should take the call, I’ll go to the restroom." She moved his hand away from her waist and turned to walk toward the restroom.
Thomas Fisher’s gaze followed Alice Turner’s figure until she disappeared into the restroom. Only then did he slowly retract his gaze and turn his attention to the phone in his hand.
Staring at the phone for a moment, he finally answered it.
"Third Brother! Calling me..."
"Where are you right now? Can you come out for a drink?"
Before Thomas Fisher could finish speaking, Benjamin Shaw interrupted him.
On the call, Thomas Fisher couldn’t detect anything abnormal in Benjamin Shaw’s voice; he sounded fine, but Thomas could sense something off about the person on the other end.
He glanced in the direction of the restroom and said to the person on the phone, "Alright."
Third Brother wouldn’t call at this time unless something was on his mind.
"I’ll wait for you at our usual bar," Benjamin Shaw didn’t say much more and decisively hung up after that sentence.

Hearing the busy tone, Thomas Fisher realized that Benjamin Shaw had already hung up. He moved the phone away from his ear and put it in his pocket.
What day is today anyway? Why do my good moments keep getting interrupted?
Thomas Fisher sighed annoyingly and strode toward the restroom. He raised his hand and knocked on the restroom door, speaking before the person inside could respond, "Alice! I’m going out for a bit; don’t wait up for me tonight."
He expected Third Brother was in a bad mood and didn’t know how long he would drink, but he predicted he would return very late.

Hearing the door close, Alice Turner came out from the restroom and stared in a daze at the room door. She then turned and walked toward the nightstand.
Although she hadn’t heard what Thomas Fisher and Benjamin Shaw were saying on the phone, Alice Turner knew without guessing that Thomas Fisher went out looking for Benjamin Shaw because of her. She could feel that they arranged to meet because of her.
What exactly is that man trying to do? They divorced five years ago!
As she walked over, Alice Turner suddenly noticed the plastic bag beside the coffee table, stuffed full of various snacks.
That man doesn’t know her at all; she never eats snacks. It’s not that she’s refusing them because of dieting; she simply doesn’t have the habit of eating snacks. She feels snacking is not a good habit.
Alice Turner bent down to pick up the large bag of snacks and then left her room, heading straight to Anthony’s room next door.

Instead of ringing the doorbell, she raised her hand and knocked directly.
"Who is it?"
After the knocking, Anthony’s voice of inquiry came from inside the door.
Alice Turner responded to the person inside, "It’s me, open up!"
She stood at the door, waiting for the person inside to let her in.
"Sis! Are you really here to silence me?" Through the peephole, Anthony saw Alice Turner standing at his door. He hadn’t noticed the snacks she was carrying and assumed she was there to confront him.
