Chapter 1419.1
Chapter 1419.1
The overwhelming divine power Willow felt from the figures made her head spin, sharp buzzing incessantly ringing through her head. What she encountered wasn't just on the level of a mere demigod, or even a complete divinity like her father. It was deeper—something comparable to Willow herself.
She thought for a second that perhaps Darian had been a complete god all this time.
‘No, no, that can't be right.’
Willow, still in a complex state of mind, tried to figure out who the owner of the divine power she felt was.
With Thanatos and the former Neltarid both dead, the only complete gods remaining were Goddess Freyja, Willow, and the current Neltarid Mk II she was familiar with. The fake goddess that had emerged from the bubble world was just a being forged from dimensional power, different from those on Willow’s level.
As she stood there stunned, a voice snapped her out of her contemplation, calling out, “Sister.”
She was in the company of pure white beings. Though their features weren’t visible, their voices were distinct.
Only once the voice shocked her out of her stupor did she gather herself and notice the surrounding scenery. It was a rather interesting space.
She found herself in a giant circular world, divided into four domains. The domains were a world full of flowers; a burning world; a world that had become a desolate wasteland; and a world which was completely frozen over. The borders between each region were surprisingly distinct.
“Who... what are you guys?”
She had no clue why there were so many beings inside Darian.
Owing to her power as a goddess, Willow had eyes that could see more things than Davey, as well as clearer than he ever could. She was able to clearly see that the beings she was looking at weren't souls, but something else entirely.
Last of all, she realized that the divine power before her held a trace of the original Neltarid’s strength.
“Did the former Neltarid implant you inside the system before their death?” Willow asked, her face full of caution.
She figured that the being her father met in the virtual world must have been one of the mysterious figures surrounding her. While she didn't know who they were, they didn't seem hostile to her—for the time being.
Just then, a being in the form of a pure white girl approached and embraced her, saying, “Sister, it's nice to meet you.”
It was a beautiful, clear voice.
Willow was taken aback. “Who are you calling your sister? Who are you, exactly...”
All of them, including the girl, spoke at once to say, “You already know who we are.”
