Chapter 1412
Chapter 1412
Solomonia first assigned the dimension Vesta was part of.Things had blown way out of proportion due to that clueless goddess and her reckless actions, but it normally still wouldn’t have been a huge mess.
“So, Solomonia is your handiwork, right?” Davey asked Goddess Freyja.
She turned her back on him when she heard that, looking pretty peeved.
He sighed with exasperation, saying, “Come on, lighten up a little.”
It was probably not a good thing that she could use such trickery just because she developed emotions.
Freyja took back control of Vesta’s dimension. Compared to the other dimensions that were already suffering from necrosis, her dimension’s condition was especially severe. Its deterioration had surely been accelerated by her careless use of power.
The biggest issue of all was that she’d gone on a rampage, forcibly stitching the dimension together with Tionis, and then ended up harming Goddess Freyja.
The world’s laws were a system with zero flexibility. Even those laws were suppressing the dimension that dared to harm Goddess Freyja.
“Look here, Goddess. We’ve got some talking to do. You’ve been dodging me pretty well. Stop faking being mad. It’s not like I’ve known you for a day or two.”
When Davey shot a look to signal Willow and Neltarid to leave, Neltarid made a sullen face.
Willow put a hand on his shoulder and commanded, “Follow me. Do you remember what I told you earlier?”
“That we’re completely useless,” Neltarid muttered.
“Right, so let’s go do our job.”
“Yes, Senior.”
Neltarid really followed Willow well.
With the two gone, it was just Davey and Goddess Freyja left. The Goddess casually waved her finger around, changing his clothes however she pleased as if she were deliberately avoiding the topic.
It wasn't the first or second time she'd done such a thing, so Davey calmly ignored it and brought up the topic he truly cared about, saying, “A keraunos phenomenon occurred recently, and an alternate space was connected as a result.”
She simply avoided his gaze.
“Just be straight with me. Is what that guy said true?”
He knew she wouldn’t answer with a simple yes or no. Interpreting her will was just part of his job. Even her giving a response was a monumental achievement. That much hadn't changed.
Yet, instead of answering, she held up her tablet and flipped the questioning back at him..
[What do you think?]
“Well, it’s hard to believe, but he didn’t seem like the type to do anything weird. For now, at least.”
[Then trust your instincts.]
She was leaving everything up to his judgment.
“That’s so frustrating. For real.”
Regardless, she kept changing his clothes over and over.
[Respect everyone and their thoughts.]
“Yeah, well, I guess you’ve never done anything that harmed me.”
Davey could rest assured of at least that much. Even if she put him through trials and threw obstacles in his way, there was always a reason for it.
She conceded many things to him, and he believed her.
“I’ll trust you. May I ask just one more question?”
The Goddess, who’d been concentrating on changing his outfit, finally looked up at him.
He asked her, “Why did you create that dimension?”
After a long silence, she slowly ran her hand across her tablet.
The next things she wrote were astonishing.

After Goddess Vesta’s dimension was reclaimed, everyone gathered in Davey’s office to discuss the matter.
“I’m glad it was resolved. The whole thing sure was a mess.”
“Right. Brother Vashas even sent a letter.”
Davey could already guess what it said. It probably started with him asking if Aeria was okay before going on for pages, making her feel uncomfortable.
