Chapter 1321.1
In the situation where Davey couldn’t bring himself to speak, he had to force his mind to work. According to Super Ribbon—no, the other ego in front of him using her body—even though he had created her, he had also neglected her.
If he looked at it coldly, he could’ve asked how he was supposed to know when she never said anything. However, he couldn’t bring himself to say that. After all, if he wanted to know of her existence, he could do so anytime. Ultimately, it was his own complacency that had denied her very existence.
“Don’t lie and say you didn’t expect my existence at all. Dad, you could’ve guessed it when I said I was closer to a demonic sword than a divine sword. Instead, you were so preoccupied with those kids, Red Ribbon and Blue Ribbon, that you figured it couldn’t be possible.”
He was speechless, finding it reasonable.
“Hah! You can’t answer after all, can you? Well, I guess I’m not surprised. I can only imagine how shocked you are.”
Even when he tried to call out to her, the words wouldn’t come out easily. He knew she was only using rhetorical questions, trying to get her point across.
She was pretty much asking if he had the right to ask her anything.
“Since I’m caught like this, it’s all over...” she murmured to herself.
He was confused. “What are you talking about? All over?”
“Still, it was a really good dream, no matter how short, right?” Having said what she wanted, she turned her body to go. “Oh, and that sleeping idiot will be back soon. It’s me here who’s saying goodbye.”
As she bounced away, her speed exceeded any ability Super Ribbon had shown before.
He figured she had saved all the mana he had infused into her without using any of it.
