Lu Yichen was packing his things, preparing to hand over his current work and set off. The Zhai Family had already discussed the wedding details with the Ji Family.

Lu Yichen’s flight was on the morning of the twenty-sixth of the last lunar month. He had the driver take him to the airport early, changed his boarding pass, checked in his luggage, passed through security, and was somewhat impatient to board.
He didn’t call Luo Qiao beforehand, intending to surprise them.
He held a photo of the four of them taken previously where Luo Qiao was still pregnant, smiling sweetly under the maple tree in the yard.
The next picture would be of seven of them, a strong lineup, bringing a smile to his face.
