Chapter 1033: Everyone Is Guessing Who Made the Move
Luo Qiao boarded the bus and squeezed her way towards the back, finding a spot to stand. After waving to Lu Yichen outside the bus, they crossed the intersection and left the station platform behind. Unintentionally, Luo Qiao noticed someone pickpocketing in front of her.
Her mind made up, she took a small pebble out of her pocket and held it in her hand, waiting until the thief was successful. Then she threw it, and a loud "Ah!" was heard, startling everyone on the bus and clearing space around the pickpocket.
Someone saw the wallet drop to the ground: "Whose wallet is this?"
Now everyone understood, it was a thief caught in the act by a master, caught red-handed. The wallet’s owner addressed the entire bus: "I don’t know who the kind soul who helped is, but I would like to thank you here and now."
The passengers looked at each other, wondering who had made the move, silently admiring this person.
With everyone’s approval, the driver took the thief directly to the nearest police station.
Upon reaching the school, someone stopped Luo Qiao: "Teacher Luo, the principal is looking for you."
Luo Qiao followed them to the principal’s office, where they knocked and announced her arrival: "Principal, Teacher Luo is here."
The principal, smiling, greeted her: "Please, have a seat, have a seat."
Luo Qiao sat down: "Principal, what did you need to see me for?"
