After they left the family quarter, Lu Yichen said, "Let’s go watch a movie. I was planning to treat you to a private kitchen meal by the East Gate, then take you back home."
When they got to the cinema entrance, they saw more stalls selling snacks. Lu Yichen went up to choose some that Luo Qiao liked before they headed to the ticket booth.
Luo Qiao whispered, "Brother Chen, I feel like somebody is following us."
Lu Yichen said, "Don’t look back."
He had already sensed something was off, which was why he bought the snacks below—to watch and see who was behind them. He hadn’t expected Luo Qiao to be so sensitive to it as well.
