It seemed they were aware of when the bus would pass by and had prepared in advance. Luo Qiao found a spot to sit and enjoy her yam fish, which was quite chewy and tasted rather good.
After finishing her meal, Luo Qiao spent some time admiring the scenery outside before boarding the bus first, as many aboard were eating their own packed dry food, so the smell inside wasn’t very pleasant,
Once on the bus, Luo Qiao opened the window beside her slightly, cautious because the road was unpaved, and she had avoided opening the window all along the route.
When the time came, the conductor and the driver called everyone to board, checking the passenger count before continuing on their journey.
Unexpectedly, when the bus finally arrived the next morning just as dawn broke, everyone stepped off looking like dust-covered monkeys, because some had gotten carsick and opened the windows, and occasionally they couldn’t close them in time when other vehicles passed by.

Once in her room with the door securely closed, she entered her space to clean herself up, then took out a meal she had prepared earlier and began to eat, planning to sleep first and deal with the rest later.
