After breakfast, she reminded them of the newly pickled eggs in the small porcelain jar, along with the pickles and such, telling them to pack some to take back with them for convenience.
Lu Yichen said, "We’ll still need to come by daily to feed the chickens in the backyard. When needed, we can just bring some with us. I’ll take the two pots of orchids back with me."
Luo Qiao, carrying a handbag and slinging her small crossbody bag over her shoulder, was escorted onto the train by Lu Yichen and Stone. As the train started, Stone’s eyes suddenly reddened.
