The host laughed. "Our family members are so enthusiastic, I don’t even know whom to choose." She scanned the audience and her gaze fixed on Luo Qiao.
Luo Qiao cocked her head towards Luo Haotian and said, "Do you think she might call on me to perform on stage?"
Luo Haotian laughed, "She’s Administrator Sun of the Publicity Department, her name is Sun Guixiang, she’s the niece of Deputy Director Qiao’s wife."
Just then, Sun Guixiang said with a smile, "Could everyone quiet down for a moment? I do have an idea. I’ve heard that the daughter recently acknowledged by Deputy Director Luo is also here today, and most of us don’t know her yet, right? Do you want to get to know her?"
Luo Qiao sneered, looking at the girl with contempt. She was being manipulated without being aware of it, surely it was Qiao Meng who was fanning the flames behind this charade.
The Luo Family members all had grim expressions. Both the factory and the residential compound knew that Luo Qiao had come from a rural area, and now in front of so many people, wasn’t this about making Luo Qiao go up and make a fool of herself?

Luo Qiao stepped out of the spectator seats. There were steps in front leading up to the stage. She walked up confidently, took the microphone handed to her by a staff member, spoke briefly with the band beside her, and then moved to the center of the stage.
Sun Guixiang hadn’t expected Luo Qiao to really come up. It was her own decision to have Luo Qiao come up today – partly because Qiao Meng had said so many bad things about Luo Qiao, and partly because she had just learned that one of the acts could not go on and needed another act to fill the time.
