Chapter 264: Zhao Jianing Being Bullied
The ticket seller was in a dilemma, visibly aware that Zhao Jianing was not an ordinary person just by her attire. Just as she was about to speak, Luo Siyan said, "Zhao Jianing, stop making trouble out of nothing.
You arrived late and still want others to give up their seat for you, what do you think? Are you seventy or eighty years old? I haven’t heard that you get motion sickness. It’s not good for someone so young to lie. Sit down quietly at once."
Hearing this, the ticket seller said, "Comrade, the bus will start soon, please take a seat. Make sure you don’t lose your footing and fall when we take a turn." The ticket seller’s countenance was no longer as friendly as before.
Biting her lip, Zhao Jianing reluctantly sat down, hating Luo Siyan to the core. Luo Siyan had always been at odds with her, and even now, she was as unpleasant as ever.
Luo Qiao snorted coldly in the front, thankful that someone stepped in to stop the fuss; she wouldn’t mind making Zhao Jianing embarrass herself right upon her return – she really needs to stop being so spoiled.
The ride was tremendously bumpy, those sitting on small stools frequently shifting their seats, occasionally bouncing up and down. Zhao Jianing, sitting next to the bus door, was swaying back and forth, enduring a great deal of discomfort.
She also had to make room for other passengers to get off, infuriating her until her face was sour with anger. Once, she even accused someone who was getting off of bumping into her, resulting in a retort from the person and a woman behind, "If you can’t stand the crowd, why ride the bus? Do you think you own it?"
Zhao Jianing was so frustrated she nearly cried, but of the entire bus, not a single person sympathized with her – they all thought she was too dramatic.
