From beginning to end, Li Jiaoyang looked at his girlfriend with eyes full of affection.
Feng Qingxue caught a glimpse and couldn't help but smile with relief. Finding someone in life who is willing to accept you from the start isn't easy, so she scooped three full ladles of sour plum soup for Li Jiaoyang, nearly overflowing the bowl.

The helper obliged and rode off on a bicycle.

Dundun and Zhuangzhuang were still well-behaved, not too curious, obediently sitting on the sofa with bamboo mats, holding glass bowls, sipping sour plum soup.
Ye Yan, being older, understood what was appropriate and what wasn't.
Only Lu Erxiong, with his thick-skinned demeanor, downed the sour plum soup given to him in one go, squeezing himself into the center of the trio to watch the fun, "Auntie, did you buy another floral dress for sister? You buy her so many floral dresses, there's no way she can wear them all even if she changes every day. You should think about me, think about your poor nephew, no one notices even when my shoes are worn out."
As he spoke, he stretched out one leg, extending it in front of Feng Qingyun, pointing his toes to show the hole revealing his toes, with his big toe wiggling.
Among the children, he was the hardest on shoes.
It might be due to his strong build; since the start of the year, his feet have been a size larger than Dundun's and two sizes larger than Zhuangzhuang's. Frequently running and jumping, he would wear out two pairs in three to five months.
Feng Qingyun was holding a trench coat against Chen Xueniang, measuring her size, but was drawn away by Lu Erxiong, and burst into laughter upon seeing the shoe, "Erxiong, is that shoe nice and breezy? Feng Qingyun's reply was to tap him on the head, nearly knocking him over.
Lu Erxiong propped himself up on the ground with his left hand, managing to stabilize himself, still crouching without standing up, loudly complaining, "Auntie, you're so fierce, it hurt a lot. Only Uncle-in-law can tolerate you!"
"Keep talking, and I won't give you the clothes and shoes I bought for you."
Upon hearing this, Lu Erxiong immediately changed his tune, ingratiatingly saying, "Auntie, you're the best, hurry up and bring them out. Don't just care about Aunt Snow and sister, spare a thought for us boys first."
Feng Qingyun promptly directed Li Jiaoyang to open one of the boxes, containing the clothes and shoes bought for the boys.
As always, they were all sportswear and sports shoes, with an additional deflated basketball and a soccer ball.
