When Christine left, a small village at the foot of Xingan Ridge received a letter and a large parcel.
"Comrade Hu, your letter and parcel!" Seeing Hu Ping jogging outside, Xiaoliu, who managed the mail, shouted at the top of his lungs, "Sent from the Capital! Sent from the Capital!"

This time, she’s sent us some Beijing-style pastries, a stack of fabric, and a large piece of Australian-imported bright red wool cloth, meant for our daughter to make a coat for her wedding!"
