Hongling’s mother returned to the Wanglou Brigade to deliver gifts for the Mid-Autumn Festival to her parents and brother’s family, and paid a visit to Feng Qingxue’s house. Feng Qingxue smiled, "My cousin brought them, Wang Jiao, my cousin. My uncle’s family plants some sunflowers every year on their reserved farm, and they collect sunflower seeds. My cousin-in-law toasted them, they taste pretty good."
The reason Wang Zhengguo and his wife planted sunflowers was simple; it was because Wang Jiao loved eating sunflower seeds.
