The instructor led Lu Lanxi out of the dormitory and onto the training field, "You need to run five laps as punishment now, and you’re not allowed to rest until you finish."
"Yes, instructor!" Lu Lanxi responded, running towards the field. Such punishment was nothing to her.
The instructor stood to the side, watching those on the field being punished. In addition to Lu Lanxi, other students who hadn’t arrived on time were also being punished.
A young soldier jogged over to the instructor, "Yan Zhengfeng, the commander wants me to find a student named Lu Lanxi to take her to his office. She’s in your class."
"Lu Lanxi?" Yan Zhengfeng glanced at Lu Lanxi running on the field. He had just asked her name, so he knew she was Lu Lanxi. Had the incident of her breaking a fellow student’s finger reached the commander’s ears? Things were serious now!
"She’s being punished now; I’ll take her to the commander’s office after she finishes running," Yan Zhengfeng said. Honestly, though the situation was severe, it wasn’t serious enough for the commander to handle personally. Plus, he hadn’t heard of the commander dealing with military training issues before.
During past military trainings, there were incidents more serious than this, where students disobeyed instructors and got into fights with them. In the end, the school was simply notified to handle it, never involving the commander.
The young soldier nodded, "I’ll go back and report to the commander first; try to hurry."
"Okay!" Yan Zhengfeng responded.
Turning to Lu Lanxi, Yan Zhengfeng sighed and jogged towards her. He hoped she wouldn’t break down in tears when she found out.
