Although there were mysterious forces at play here, rendering the use of Immortal Spirit Energy impossible, the energy stored in her spatial field allowed her to remain unaffected.
She had instructed Xiao Hei to abduct Cui Xiang and wound Shuimu Yan for one sole purpose—building a connection with Shuimu Yan. Shuimu Yan was the young city lord of Shuimu City, and becoming acquainted with him would make certain matters much more convenient.
