Having made their decision, Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo set out for the Deadly Mountain Range the next day.
Now on Lan Star, there were not many threats that could pose a danger to them, so after nearly half a month’s journey, the two of them smoothly arrived at the Deadly Mountain Range.
The Deadly Mountain Range undulated with mountains stretching endless, shrouded in clouds and mist from afar, casting a mysterious and unfathomable aura.
Luo Shu and Lu Hanmo stowed away the beast carriage and stepped into the Deadly Mountain Range, where they first encountered an endless forest.
The forest was lush with towering trees reaching into the sky. Due to the rare human presence, a thick layer of leaves had accumulated on the ground; the old leaves had decomposed and were covered by fresh ones, which in turn decayed and were covered again, repeating in a cycle. Hence, the air was permeated with a moist musty smell.
"Shushu, go into the space, I’ll handle things here," Lu Hanmo said. He had already used his Divine Sense to scout the perimeter of the forest and found no Spirit Beasts, or at most, only some Low-Level ones.
"Alright!" Luo Shu nodded, her figure flashing as she entered the space. In the space, she could also talk with Hanmo, and most importantly, his speed would be much faster alone.
After Luo Shu entered the space, Lu Hanmo rapidly dashed deeper into the forest.
