Xiaomei hung her head and fell silent.
Aunt Ning didn’t go to comfort her. "You were by her side during her toughest times, and no one can compete with that advantage. If you don’t know how, sign up for a class to learn business socialization—it will help you too."
"I’ll sign up for classes right away."

Gu Sining was bewildered by the scolding. "You can’t blame me for this. You previously said you wanted to thank Sister Bing. You came, but you didn’t convey your intentions. Even if you couldn’t see Sister Bing, you could have at least expressed your gratitude to her servants."
"Are you teaching me how to handle things?"
"Your demeanor earlier resembled someone heading to cause a scene. Though our family may be the wealthiest, they don’t lack money either. Why should they fawn over you?"
