Chapter 245: The Little Princess
The banquet hall of the Pearl Hotel was bustling with activity. Pearl Hotel was one of the top hotels in the country owned by Mu Heng. He decided to hold Erika’s first-month celebration in the hotel. He would also use the opportunity to introduce Mu Lan to his relatives and business partners.
The banquet hall could accommodate 300 guests. Since it was a baby’s first-month celebration, the party started at 4:00 pm.
Erik wanted to take back his wife and child the moment they were discharged from the hospital but the Mu grandfather and grandsons strongly objected. They wanted to celebrate the baby’s first month with them and besides they had not introduced Mu Lan yet.
When Mu Heng saw that Erik was stubborn and was firm in his decision to bring back his precious granddaughter and great-granddaughter to Malacan, Mu Heng resulted in a moral kidnapping. He reminded Erik that if not for him, Aryana could have died along with the little princess in her stomach.
In the end, Erik relented. He did owe Mu Heng, Aryana, and Erika’s lives.
Mu Heng’s three sons and their children arrived at the venue early. His cousins were also there along with their children and grandchildren. Most of the guests were from the Mu clan and a few were from their important business partners.
Many relatives of Mu Heng were jealous. While they struggled to produce a son, Mu Heng had three sons. His eldest son has five sons. His second has three and a daughter, and his youngest has two sons. All the sons and grandsons were outstanding.
Unbeknownst to them, Mu Heng also envied them because they had many granddaughters. While Mu Heng was proud of his sons and grandsons, he longed for granddaughters that he could dote on but he only got one.
Mu Bai was wearing an exquisite mermaid red gown that glittered when struck by light. She arrived early together with her father and her brothers. She was dressed to outshine everyone including her so-called cousin and the little Princess of the Mu Family. She grew up pampered and spoiled. All the males of the Mus were wrapped around her fingers and they would give whatever she asked them.
