Chapter 176: Will I Become A Hit?
Erik used both of his hands to block Cassie otherwise, she would fall face down on his lap. How embarrassing would that be? He held her by the side of her arms and then glared at Marlon.
Marlon understood. He stood up, supported Cassie, and led her back to her seat.
When Erik’s hands were free, he took out his handkerchief and wiped the wine on Aryana’s face and neck.
"Are you alright?" Erik asked gently.
"I am alright," Aryana replied.
"I’m really sorry. I tripped." Cassie was flusterred. She realized belatedly that what happened just now was embarrassing.
Julia chuckled. "Cousin, it is good that Erik’s reflexes are fast. I can’t imagine how you looked like if he did not block you."
Cassie’s face reddened. She looked at Erik and apologized again.
Erik sized her up. He remembered a similar incident in the past when she seemed to be drunk and also fell on him. He was now convinced that she did it on purpose.
"Thank you everyone for your gifts and greetings. We will leave first. You can continue to enjoy here." Erik draped his jacket on Aryana and lead her out of the private room.
In the car, Aryana was in a good mood. She kept humming the song she sang earlier.
