Chapter 173: Blame Her For Their Low Score
"Let’s begin. I’ll go first." Rhia volunteered.
She released the ball and five pins were knocked down. For her second throw, two pins were knocked down.
"I am not really that good. This is all I can do." She scratched her head.
Cassie took a ball. She has good form and when she released the ball it was a strike.
"Great job Cassie." Erik complimented Cassie and gave her a high five.
Aryana noticed it and she could see it wasn’t the first time Erik and Cassie played bowling together.
Aryana took a ball. She hasn’t bowled for a long time and was a bit rusty. When she released the ball, her hand twisted a bit and the ball kept rolling at the center of the lane, but when it was near the pins it changed direction and went to the gutter.
Cassie gloated inside. "I had the same experience when I was just starting to play bowling. Don’t feel bad." She said in a comforting tone.
Erik selected a ball for her. "Try a lighter one first. Kept your hand steady when releasing it." His voice was very gentle and encouraging.
Cassie pursed her lips. Was Aryana intentionally playing dumb to seduce Erik?
Aryana took a deep breath and then released the ball. Just when everyone thought the ball would hit the first pin it changed direction and headed toward the gutter.
