Chapter 118: Bad News Boss
The following morning Erik and Aryana went to the office together. They used the exclusive elevator for the CEO as it was the only elevator with access to the Penthouse. When they stepped out of the elevator, both were surprised to find Cassie exiting from the other elevator.
’What a coincidence!’ Aryana sneered.
"Good morning Erik!" Cassie greeted Erik warmly. "Oh hi Aryana." She maintained a fake smile on her face.
"What a coincidence to run into both of you." Cassie’s glance landed on Aryana. ’Why is she with Erik so early in the morning?’
"Hello Cassie." Aryana greeted back. She also wore a fake smile.
"Erik, I came to drop the contract to Camille as I did not make an appointment. I’m also here to give you these cookies. I saw that you finished the cookies yesterday." She said in a gentle and sweet voice.
"Do you want Boss Erik to die or have diabetes? You should know how much sugar you have put into the dough." Aryana said sarcastically."
She grabbed the two boxes from Cassie who was too shock to do anything.
"I’ll serve one cookie with your coffee today boss." She maintained her pace as she walked beside Erik. Cassie walked on his other side.
"Just leave the contract to Camille. I thought you are going to send it via email as you said yesterday."
"I have a meeting nearby so I thought of just dropping it off." She said still keeping a smile on her face.
