Chapter 115: A Helping Hand
"His wife needed to be operated on and he was desperate and pushed to a corner. He just loves his wife too much and it touched me so I promised to help him." Aryana explained in a gentle voice.
"I need to go. Stay here and rest first. I’ll pick you up later." Erik kissed her on the forehead and left.
Aryana visited Vince in the charity ward. She then inquired what is the name of his wife.
"Her name is Jessa Pison. She is in ward 501. My mother is currently taking care of her." Vince gave her the information she needed.
"Miss Jones, can I be discharged? I am already fine." Vince was worried about the medical fees.
"You should stay here for at least a day. How can you take care of your wife in that condition?"
Vince has no choice but to listen to her. Indeed he was beaten really bad by his two colleagues.
Aryana went to the hospital’s cashier and paid the deposit on behalf of the patient Jessa Pison. She then decided to visit Jessa but bumped with Alex on the way.
"Aryana, I visited you in the ward but you are not there. Erik called me and told me to take care of you. What is a patient doing, roaming around the hospital?" Alex asked her.
"Do I look like a patient to you?"
Alex scanned her from head to toe. Apart from the visible bruise on her wrists, she doesn’t seem to be sick or have external injury at all. So he shook his head.
