Chapter 84: You Make Me Shameless
When Aryana woke up, Erik was still asleep. She gently removed his arms that were hugging her then she got off the bed. She checked her messages and replied to Emma and Hector that she arrived safely. She also thanked them for touring her around and spending time with her in Italy.
Maria already prepared breakfast. Aryana decided to leave early for the office so she can prepare for the early meeting with Mr. Gran Ham.
"Please tell Erik that I will go ahead." She said before leaving in a hurry.
Erik was a little disappointed when he woke up and found Aryana gone. He checked his watch and frowned when he realized he overslept.
Aryana and Erik were both busy with a series of meetings during the morning.
At lunchtime, Aryana had her lunch at the cafeteria so she can catch up with Elaine.
"Aryana, I missed you. I haven’t seen you in ages." Elaine sat by her side with her food tray.
"Huh, it’s just two weeks," Aryana said.
"Guess who is back?"
Aryana arched an eyebrow. "Julia?"
"Damn! You are so straightforward. You didn’t even just pretend a little that you do not know."
