Chapter 65: Secretary In Action
Liza accompanied Aryana to the CEO’s floor and led her to Camille’s cubicle. Aryana did not have a lot of things. She just has her laptop, her tumbler, and her coffee mug.
Liza sent her some links and oriented her on what was expected of the CEO’s secretary. She was given access to Erik’s calendar and Camille’s mailbox.
"That’s all I can share with you. Talk to Marlon and the CEO himself about which clients and meetings are important." Liza prepared to leave.
"Wait, Liza. Can you show me where the supplies are, the photocopier, the printer, and the shredder?" She asked in haste. "And also the pantry and which utensils the CEO uses." She added.
"He he he. I thought you’ll never ask. Looks like you will be a good secretary. You know when to ask and what to ask." Liza showed her all the things that she asked before leaving her.
When Aryana, reviewed Erik’s calendar, she had a headache because of overlapping meetings. She had no choice but to go to Erik’s office to check with him. Erik’s office was closed. She knocked twice and waited for a few seconds before opening the door.
Erik glared at her but softened his reaction the moment he realized it was Aryana.
"I am sorry. I’ll come back later." She said then quickly turned around after she threw a furtive glance at the lady who was leaning towards Erik from across the desk and showing her something on her laptop. She was intentionally seducing Erik.
"Will be done in 15 minutes. Bring coffee when you come back." It was not Erik talking to her but the CEO.
Aryana turned around. "Yes Sir." She said respectfully then left in a hurry. She did not see the smile that tugged Erik’s lips, but Josie Fejas, the Director of Sales noticed it. She frowned and her gaze followed the woman who just left.
"Is she your new secretary?" Josie asked.
