Chapter 621: The wedding night
Since Madam Xi had said so, Qin Yan had nothing else to say. She forcefully agreed to her, "Alright, then."
Only then did everyone breathe a sigh of relief in unison. The little one, who was in Qin Yan’s arms, grew increasingly puzzled. "Mommy, does that mean I can’t sleep with you tonight?"
When Qin Yan met her son’s pitiful eyes, she had no choice but to turn her heart to stone. She reached out for Xiaobao’s small head and coaxed him, "Baby, you go sleep with Grandma tonight, okay?"
The little guy stared at Qin Yan for some time but still, Qin Yan did not take back her words. He realized there was no way out of this. As such, he gave a nod reluctantly.
Madam Xi scooped Xiaobao up and fled away.
Following Madam Xi’s departure, the other two elders, who had already felt a chill creeping down their spines, cleverly knew that it was time to leave the couple alone. They faked a cough and said solemnly, "We still need to receive some guests downstairs. We have to make a move now. Rest well."
As soon as the people who caused them trouble had left, Xi Ting hurriedly took Qin Yan and pulled her inside the room. He shut the bedroom door and locked it.
The moment Qin Yan stepped into the room and before she said anything, she was already pinned to the door by Xi Ting. He kissed her passionately.
"Um...um...um..." He kissed her unexpectedly. Qin Yan was almost choked by her own saliva. She wanted to struggle. However, when she saw Xi Ting’s eyes had turned red with a hint of aggressiveness, she gradually relaxed.
She wrapped her hands around Xi Ting’s neck. She followed Xi Ting’s rhythm and returned his kiss indulgently.
The chilly wind crept in quietly through the half-opened window and into the room, making a thin, whimpering sound. The intimate kissing and hugging between the couples inside the room had added a tinge of warmth to it, despite the fact that it was supposed to feel eerie.
