Chapter 597: Thorough planning
Just as Qin Muran was wondering how long Xi Yaohua was going to let her wait, she got a phone call from him.
"I accept your conditions," said Xi Yaohua through the phone.
"Which one are you accepting?" Qin Muran still remembered that she gave him two choices.
"Divorce me half a month earlier and I will give you a hundred million," said Xi Yaohua, gritting his teeth.
Xi Yaohua had to behave like this so that Qin Muran would not suspect anything. Xi Yaohua knew this clearly, so he intentionally acted as if he was reluctant.
However, Qin Muran was not surprised about Xi Yaohua’s choice. If Xi Yaohua had chosen to divorce her a day early to save fifty million, then Qin Muran would have had to put her guard up.
Xi Yaohua definitely wanted to get rid of her as soon as possible. If he did not rush to get rid of her to save money, this meant that Xi Yaohua had other plans against her.
After hearing Xi Yaohua’s choice, Qin Muran let out a sigh of relief. If Xi Yaohua was willing to cooperate, everything would be simpler for everyone involved. However, Qin Muran did not know that Xi Yaohua chose this purely because Qin Muran was going to die. He therefore did not need to give her the money as well. So no matter what he chose, he would not suffer a loss.
But he knew that this choice could put Qin Muran’s mind at peace. As expected, without any suspicions, Qin Muran answered, "Okay."
