Chapter 569: The little bun is rescued
In the Xi family mansion.
Old Madam Xi had fainted on hearing the news of the little bun and Qin Yan’s disappearance. She could not bear the shock of the news and she thus had to be sent to the hospital immediately. Old Master Xi accompanied his wife to the hospital to take care of her.
On the other hand, Madam Xi was not in her senses. She shouted at everyone around her grandson who were responsible for his protection.
"What’s wrong with you people? Where was everyone when this happened? There were so many people protecting my Bao Bao! Where were all of them when he was taken away?"
Madam Xi did not care much about Qin Yan but the little bun was a different story. He was her own grandson and someone who was very dear to her heart. Thus, she found an outlet to release her anger as she shrieked in despair.
All the men responsible for protecting the little guy stood with their heads hung low. They knew that it was their fault. It was not that the enemy was too powerful, it was just that they were not capable enough.
When Madam Xi saw the men standing with their heads lowered in shame and guilt, she felt helpless. She should not have left her grandson with that Qin Yan. Tears started falling out of her eyes as she did not know in what state was her grandson currently in!
"Hubby, please, please find my grandson for me! Do anything but find him for me," She pleaded helplessly in front of Master Xi.
Master Xi did not say anything, but he was not feeling any better than Madam Xi. He had watched the little guy grow up. Even now, he still remembered the first time he saw the little bun’s excitement, remembered the soft touch when he hugged him. Then, he had watched him grow up day by day as he became smarter and smarter, cuter and cuter, and now he was obedient, sensible, and filial...
That was his grandson, his life! How could he not be worried? How could his heart not ache? He would have much rather have himself be kidnapped! He had already thrown all his resources to find his grandson but there had not been a single news! He had not felt this helpless until now!
