Chapter 561: The award ceremony
Qin Yan did not know that Nie Mianmian was plotting against her and her little darling. When she reached home, she got an invitation from the award ceremony. It was Fei Yue National award ceremony. The invitation reached Qin Yan as she was the CEO of the Starlight Entertainment.
Every year, outstanding films and dramas from all over the country would participate in the selection. Of course, the movie and TV stars from the various companies were not to be missed out on either. This included the A-listers in the national film scene and the drama scene, who would bring their works along with them. Some would also be invited as guests by the organizers.
Participating in this award ceremony would surely stabilize one’s position in this industry.
Thus, on getting the invitation, Qin Yan decided to visit her company first. This was the first award ceremony that was being held after their company settled down. During the time when she had acquired the company, they had not participated in anything and neither did they get invitations from any of the award ceremonies.
This was because their company had been sucked dry by Shen Sisi. All the good artists were poached away and the artists that remained in the company were turned to be mere performers for the people of Skylark Entertainment.
Thus, it took time for them to get back on the track. And now that they were on the track, it was not surprising for Starlight Entertainment to get invitation from the award ceremony.
When Qin Yan reached the company, she called for the managers of the artists to know about who from their company was nominated for awards and who could attend the ceremony. After all, because of their filming schedules, it was not possible for every artist to attend.
In the video conference, the managers of Fang Wen and Ji Lingchen told Qin Yan that both of them were not able to attend the film festival as they were currently not in the country. Meanwhile, Gong Tianhao was nominated for the best actor in the comic role, Xu Lei was nominated for the best actress category and Jiang Xun was nominated for the best supporting actress category.
These three people were in the country and they all would be attending the ceremony.
Qin Yan nodded and decided to attend the festival too. Since, her artists were nominated for the awards, she wanted to be present in their happiness if they won the award and also in their sorrow if they lost.
