Xu Lei was the first to arrive at the hospital. Her eyes were wide with worry as she rushed towards Jiang Xun. The air was thick with tension as she urgently inquired about the horrifying events that had brought her brother to this emergency room.

Shi Huan slowly recounted what had transpired at Gu Qiang’s party. After knowing what had happened, Xu Lei sighed. She now understood why Jiang Xun was not in the right frame of mind. She looked at the closed doors of the emergency room worriedly and then went to sit near Jiang Xun.
"Sister Xu, Brother Xu was splashed with sulfuric acid because he shielded me," Jiang Xun covered her face in anguish, "At that time, Brother Xu pushed me away and stood in front of me..."
"The sulfuric acid was splashed on his body. He’s injured so badly, what if he can’t recover..." Jiang Xun asked tearfully, "Sister Xu, what do you think I should do?"
