Chapter 452: Walking past her
Qin Muran felt proud to be congratulated by Jiang Xun. She was so full of herself that her mind and heart did not accept the fact that she had gotten this role because of Xi Yaohua. She had gotten this role because of her connections and not because of her talent. Even if she knew that this role was spoon-fed to her, her conscience did not hurt. Instead, she thought that it required talent to get a backing like Xi Yaohua.
Qin Muran showed a reserved smile, "We can work well together."
"Yeah, I’m looking forward to working with you!"
The two of them smiled at each other
Soon, they got on the plane, and the seats were a bit far apart.
The journey was uneventful, and when they arrived at the set, the corners of Qin Muran’s mouth held a smile. She was very happy. How could she not be? After all, she was the lead actress in her very first drama.
When they arrived at the destination, it was already late afternoon and the guests were almost all there. Qin Muran and Jiang Xun almost reached at the same time even though Jiang Xun travelled in a taxi while Qin Muran had her own car.
Just as they reached the shooting place, a tall guy came towards them. At the sight of this guy, Qin Muran’s eyes lit up, surprised. Wasn’t he the leading man of this drama, also known as her partner— Gu Qiang?
Did he come out to greet her?
Qin Muran was in a better mood and gave Jiang Xun a veiled, smug glance. It seemed that Gu Qiang already knew who the leading lady was. Thinking of this, the smile on Qin Muran’s mouth grew bigger. She took two quick steps and went to meet him.
To her surprise, Gu Qiang walked past her to Jiang Xun. The smile at the corner of Qin Muran’s mouth froze as Gu Qiang happily walked towards Jiang Xun.
