The gratitude in Qin Yan’s eyes was palpable, "I owe you my life. Thank you for stepping in and risking your own well-being to save me. I don’t know how I can ever repay you."
Zhuang Yu waved off the offer, her voice filled with sincerity. "You don’t have to repay me. Seeing you safe and well is reward enough. Besides, we’re classmates, and looking out for each other is what we should do."
