Chapter 299: Rushing to Xi Corporation
Yun Jian and Qin Yan looked at each other. They admired Yu Zilong for loving his son so much but they also hated him for taking other people’s lives for his own selfish reasons.
Since the motive of the murder was organ donation, Yun Jian could not announce this to public in the fear of discouraging organ donation. What she could do was to contact the Commissioner-General and discuss her further course of actions.
The police car took Yu Zilong to the police station and Yun Jian followed them. As Qin Yan was about to return to the campus, she got a call from Tong Chunian.
After hearing the contents of the call, Qin Yan rushed to the Xi Corporation. There was a train station near Yun Jian’s villa, and after changing two trains, walking for 10 minutes, she could quickly reach the Xi Corporation.
It was not that she didn’t want to take a taxi, it was just that in capital city, taking a train was more convenient, and hence she would definitely choose to take a train first.
The traffic situation on the road was too congested, and from the school to the Xi Corporation, it would take 40 minutes for the train while for a car it would take at least an hour.
Upon reaching the Xi Corporation, she didn’t stop until she reached the top floor. Since everyone recognised her now, no one dared to come in her way.
On reaching the top floor, Qin Yan hurried to the door of Xi Ting’s office.
"Lady boss!" Tong Chunian called out to Qin Yan.
"What happened to Ah Ting?"
"Young Master Xi is sick," Tong Chunian replied, "By the way, Lady boss, Young Master Xi had ordered me not to tell you. So later on, if Young Master Xi starts to blame me, you need to help defend me."
