Chapter 274: Company inspection
The next day, Qin Yan wore her mask again and went to the company building in the morning.
When she walked into the company, all she saw were the workers doing their jobs seriously. Qin Yan did not disturb anyone and entered the special elevator that led to her office.
She opened her office and as always started the computer which showed the CCTV footage from the cameras that were placed all over the company. Only she and Xu Tong had the knowledge of these cameras being placed in all the major offices and corners of the company.
Normally, Qin Yan would look at the footage once and then would go back to her work. However, today she found something different. A female trainee dancer was behaving weirdly in a talent manager’s office.
Qin Yan had a hint of what was going on, but to confirm her suspicions, she walked in the direction of Manager Chu’s office.
However, before she reached the office, a delicate voice came from inside the office.
"Manager Chu, you promised me that I would be promoted to the leader of the dance group. When will this matter be announced?"
Being a dance group leader was an achievement for all the members of the group. It was because when you performed on the big stage, the leader would get noticed first and would be offered different opportunities. In comparison, the members of the group would get the opportunities afterwards.
Moreover, if anybody wanted to recruit the group, they had to contact the manager of the group and the leader. It would help the person to get to know more high-level people. That was a good chance to form connections.
Naturally, some people had to use tricks to get there.
Then, a middle-aged man’s male voice was heard. He said, "My dear, you have to be patient. I have to wait for an opportunity before I can announce it, but I can’t do it now."
