Chapter 197: I don’t trust you
Meanwhile in the Moonlight villa.
"Dad, you cannot go back on your words! You promised me that you would take me to meet Sister Yan today!" The little bun stood angrily in front of Xi Ting with his hands on his waist.
"I know but let me go today. I will coax Qin Yan and then bring her to our house," Xi Ting tried to console his son, but it turned out to be futile.
"I don’t know when she will come home, but you haven’t taken me to meet her since she has shifted to capital. You promised me yesterday but now you are going back on your words. I don’t trust you anymore," the little guy’s eyes were filled with tears of indignation.
Looking at his son, Xi Ting sighed. He didn’t know how to explain everything to his son. He didn’t want to take the little guy to Qin Yan’s college as he was afraid of rumours that would arise if someone saw the three of them together.
On the other hand, if he went alone, he would achieve the desired result which was to let everyone know that he was Qin Yan’s boyfriend.
"Xiaobao, please try to understand. Today it’s important that I go alone. Next time, I will make sure to bring you with me, is that alright?" Xi Ting tried his best to console the little guy.
Seeing his father so unrelenting, the little bun knew that no matter what he did, his father would not bring him to Sister Yan. He thus didn’t wait and ran into his room with his little legs angrily.
Xi Ting sighed again. There was nothing he could do. He got up from the couch, picked the car keys and left for the Beijing University.

After her classes, Qin Yan returned to her dormitory only to find out that her other three roommates were going out for dinner.
