Chapter 187: We are together!
Qin Yan giggled, "Okay, okay, calm down. I will tell you everything!"
Yun Jian smiled and looked at Qin Yan with eager eyes awaiting the news from her best friend.
"Do you remember Xi Ting?" Qin Yan asked.
"Of course! How dare I forget the great Young Master Xi?"
"Young Master Xi?" Qin Yan was baffled hearing Yun Jian, "Jian Jian.." Qin Yan gazed at Yun Jian, "You knew his identity?"
Yun Jian’s expression cracked. She came to a sudden realisation by hearing Qin Yan. She had misspoken! It just blurted out from her mouth! But it was too late now! Qin Yan had already noted her words. She couldn’t take them back. So she accepted guiltily, "Yes.." Yun Jian said with her head lowered, "Yan Yan, I am sorry I didn’t tell you..."
Qin Yan took a deep breath trying to understand why her best friend hid such a big thing from her. She also felt a sense of betrayal, "Then may I ask Miss Yun Jian why didn’t you tell me?"
Glancing at Qin Yan’s face, Yun Jian shrunk back, "I am sorry but he took a promise from me to not tell you his real identity. He liked you a lot and he was afraid that you would run away if you knew his identity. He didn’t tell me either but I came to know about it by chance."
Qin Yan heard Yun Jian’s reason and she knew that there was nothing that she could do about it. Because of her nature, both her best friends had kept Xi Ting’s identity a secret from her. She felt bad but she couldn’t get angry with either of them. She loved both of them too much.
"But why are you asking me about Young Master Xi?" Yun Jian tried to divert the topic.
She got successful as Qin Yan’s frown eased, "You knew that he liked me?"
