After Director Gu of Tong University, the directors of Nan University and Jiang University also came to Qin family’s banquet. They were all welcomed warmly by the Qin family and Qin Yicheng’s face regained pride.
All the directors were here for Qin Muran. They offered different conditions to her for joining their university. Qin Muran heard everything and replied to everyone humbly. However, the pride on her face could not be concealed.
Many people stayed back because of appearance of the directors but most of the important people got calls from somewhere and left after answering the calls. They all gave different reasons for leaving.
"What’s happening? Why do I see so many people leaving halfway?" A student from Class three looked around suspiciously.
Another student seemed doubtful as well. As they spoke, a third student and his parents beside her got up to leave hastily too.
The second student stopped him. "Wu Haoyang, where are you going?"
"Haha, I have an important event to attend. We’ll talk again next time, Lin Che." Wu Haoyang then quickly fled.
The more the second student thought about it, the more she felt it was very strange. Finally, she could not suppress her curiosity and went outside with the first student following her as well. They then saw that the guests who had left earlier were all going upstairs...
"That’s weird... Is there an important event upstairs?"
"I heard that class four has organized some gathering to celebrate their results. But it’s just a gathering of students. Is it more important than the banquet held here?"
